Day 29

 Bonjour!

Damn I'm HOT! LMAO.... It got up to 89 today.  90 for tomorrow. I will be trying to get a early start tomorrow for sure.

Today was a productive day. I finished up moving all of the sand, bitumen and debris left over from the wood floors from the other side of the house today. Between yesterday and today, I shoveled and moved 300+ buckets of sand and such.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie (the plumber) today.  We did a walk through of the space and my plans for what and where everything is to be roughed in. As usual, I had to ask Jamie where he's from because he's British.  He was last in Manchester but when I mentioned my grandmothers home town, he knew exactly what I was talking about.  He had asked if I've been there and my response was "no,  but want to"!  He had asked because there's not much there he said.  I said how disappointing that was as my grandmother used to tell me all these great stories of where she grew up and lived till moving to the states.  From what Jamie said, it sounds like a ghost town.  The town used to be a thriving town of pottery mills and such and most have closed up. :(  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunstall,_Staffordshire  Ghost town or not, it's on my bucket list.  I guess we have family that owns a pub in town, so that alone is a reason to go!

Tomorrow should be my last work day and that will consist of take down the last two walls and clearing out all debris.

Also the bruises are starting to made and cut is healing!

Doug and Mykle were at it again tonight..... Mykle, made Mexican rice and Doug made Sweet Spicy Sticky Chipotle Chicken.  Seriously, WTF.  My belly is a happy camper! This recipe IS coming home with me!
