Day 16
Today was another free day.
Woke up naturally, had a little breakfast and the three of us headed into town where the weekly market is held. Love friday market day, fresh local veggies that are vibrant in color and jumbo in size, fresh cheeses, breads, herbs, pastry vendors, meats, seafood (stinky) and such. We picked up a few things for the weekend and a few cheesecake like desserts from this young man named Benji. :)
It was a rainy morning so headed back and warmed up some lovely goodies that we got from one of the vendors. The wife is French and the husband is from Mexico, so the food was of a latin taste. Later Doug and I ran to a local garden center to get inspiration for the back courtyard. I took a nap and decided to venture out on a walk throughout town. To end my walk, I stopped the vendor in the park and got some fresh churros to snack on. YUMMMM!!!! Below are pictures and a video of today's outings.
Mykle made a delicious roasted veggie dish and Doug a pork tenderloin. :) And as if it couldn't get any better, Mykle made a homemade apple pie!!!!!!
Tomorrow, Sunday and Monday will be work days! I have a contractor coming tomorrow to give me a devis (quote) for the possible fixing of the walls and floors as well as the buildout. Stay tuned for progress!
Au revoir!
